Sunshine Coast Aged Care Home
Residents in this aged care home in Sunshine Coast were complaining of the horrible piercing screech of mynas at dawn and dusk. The awnings provided an ideal platform for mynas to gather as they basked in the morning sun, but the large number of pest birds left their disgusting droppings smeared on the windows.
In order to effectively move the flock of mynas away from the building, the high access team used a dense cover of SS41 spikes to deter the group away.
Over the next two weeks the facility saw a progressive reduction in birds, and eventually the birds relocated permanently.
