Vexo Warranty Policy

Plascare (Aust) Pty. Ltd. selects the highest grade materials available to ensure durability of our products.
This policy explains the warranty offered on our products and how we handle warranty claims.

“We”, “us” and “our” means Plascare (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 64 007 121 977) of 58C Dougharty Road, Heidelberg West, VIC 3081, Australia.


Plascare’s contractual warranty covers the following:

  • 15 year product warranty against material defects in full stainless steel spikes/posts;
  • 10 year product warranty against material defects in PVC coated stainless steel mesh; and
  • 6 year product warranty against material defects in nylon fasteners resulting in failure of the mesh system,
    in each case subject to the exclusions set out below.

Time limits run from date of purchase.

Further, depending on the size of your order you may also be eligible for the benefit of consumer guarantees available to you under Australian Consumer Law.  Claims under the Australian Consumer Law should be made in accordance with our contractual warranty procedure set out below.


You and your chosen installer must ensure the correct product is chosen and installed correctly. If the wrong product is used or installed incorrectly, the product may degrade and/or not work effectively.  Our technical team is happy to consult and provide advice to select the most appropriate bird deterrent solution.

Our warranty does not include damage caused by improper installation, damage due to third party conduct or omission, damage arising from natural disasters, or damage arising from your abuse, misuse, negligence, modification, accident or improper handling.

Surface oxidation of metal products may naturally occur over time depending on the location and proximity to sea, however this does not affect integrity of the product.

You must retain proof of purchase in order to make a warranty claim.


If you wish to make a warranty claim please contact us at the details provided below.  Upon presentation of a representative sample of the affected product along with proof of purchase, we will either repair the affected product, replace the affected product or provide a comparable new product (in our discretion).  For large claims we will need to arrange a site visit to inspect the alleged defects before responding to such claim.

This policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any claim arising under it may only be commenced in the courts of Victoria, Australia.
